When Courage needs a Good Companion: The Imperial Portable Typewriter

This article was submitted to the Imperial News for its spring 1965 edition. It tells the story of an Englishwoman, Elspeth Jarvis, who used an Imperial Good Companion portable typewriter to aid her in her recovery from cerebral thrombosis. Ms Jarvis was a company secretary who suffered a stroke at work which left her partially paralysed. It was caused by a blood clot that lodged in a blood vessel in her brain.

Very well said. "When we are well we never know what hared things can happen..."

Sometimes it takes something to challenge us or slow us to make us appreciate things and even branch out to new things.

Very fine article.
